The Tsangaya Creative Bootcamp is a hybrid creative training program designed to incubate passionate young creatives through hands-on learning, digital storytelling, design thinking, and entrepreneurial development.
This transformative bootcamp brings together storytelling, content creation, visual design, and innovation to help participants gain relevant skills, build confidence, and connect with real opportunities.

Abubakar Muhammad Umar
Abubakar Almuhandis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Northino, an inclusive e-learning platform dedicated to delivering localized digital skills across Africa. Since its launch in March 2024, Northino has impacted over 11,000 learners, with more than 2,000 enrollments, helping to close the digital divide for native speakers across the continent.
A trained software engineer and former Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) Lead at Al-Qalam University, Abubakar is passionate about education, innovation, and community growth. He has led Northino through notable milestones, including reaching the finals of the iHatch startup incubation program, and continues to champion accessible tech education.
In addition to his work in edtech, Abubakar is a public speaker, a mentor to young creatives. He remains active in technology and youth development communities, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible when purpose meets innovation.
Abdussamad Ibrahim
A multidisciplinary creative professional with a strong foundation in brand strategy, visual design, and community development. With a journey that began in 2018 as a game and 3D artist, he has evolved into a sought-after graphic designer, now specializing in brand identity and strategic storytelling for African-rooted and globally relevant brands.
Abdussamad is the founder of Flint, a streetwear brand that not only pushes creative boundaries but also champions youth culture—hosting Kano’s first ever skateboarding event and actively engaging the local community. His work is deeply tied to purpose and culture, often reflecting a fusion of heritage and modern expression.
He has played a significant role in design and community leadership, contributing to platforms such as GDG Kano, OSCA Africa Kano, and Startup Kano, while also serving as the Friends of Figma Kano Advocate. His portfolio includes creative direction for major events like DevFest Kano (2021–2023) and collaborations across fashion, tech, education, and wellness sectors.
When he’s not designing, Abdussamad teaches, speaks at design bootcamps, produces content like the Make It Pop-Cast podcast, and empowers creatives across Africa through mentorship and learning programs.
